Fractome

Database of biological isotope fractionations

The Fractome database compiles results for measured fractionations of stable isotopes by living organisms, taken from the published (refereed) literature. The goal is to make the large body of experimental and field work on biologic isotope effects machine-searchable in a form that is useful both to biologists studying the organisms, and to geochemists studying isotopic signals in the environment.

At present the database is limited to D/H fractionations in cultured microbes.
